A Reminder That Lee Pace Is Very Hot

There’s a frequently asked question among people who are attracted to men: Is he hot, or is he just tall? When it comes to Lee Pace, I’m always pleasantly reminded that while he is indeed tall (6’5”!!), he’s also extremely hot. It’s in his jawline, the twinkle in his eye—and, importantly, his acceptance (and encouragement) of his status as a Very Hot Man. As the very astute Joanna Robinson put it , he’s “turned himself into a 24/7 thirst trap,” most obviously via his Twitter feed . Self-awareness is sexy—and self-awareness about being sexy is even better (especially when you look like Lee Pace).

He is currently on a press tour for his upcoming movie Bodies Bodies Bodies, which has provided a delightful number of opportunities for him to stand around looking nice. I’ve pulled a photo from this recent junket—and some other excellent shots of Lee Pace (who I appear to be incapable of referring to by only his last name). Please read on for my important investigation into the different ways Lee Pace is hot and tall.

Here is Lee Pace at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Fall Winter 2022-2023 show in Paris on July 4. I applaud him for a) not marking the Fourth of July—this year it felt especially weird to celebrate America, and b) for rolling up his shirtsleeves and showing off those arms. There are few things I love more than a strong forearm.

I presume Lee Pace’s fashion exec partner, Matthew Foley , took these. They are well framed and chicly washed out, and Lee Pace looks comfortable and at ease. I’d like to thank Matthew Foley for taking these lovely pics, and Lee Pace for sharing his beautiful legs with us.

Anyone who’s spent time in New York City this summer knows how oppressively hot it’s been, and I applaud Mr. Pace for leaving his loose summer shirt very unbuttoned—all the better for him to catch a breeze and for us to sneak a peak at his chest. In a distressing turn of events for me, this photo was taken earlier this week at a screening of Bodies, Bodies, Bodies in a park less than a mile from my home. Hopefully, you can enjoy this outfit without the anxiety of wondering whether he had dinner at your favorite neighborhood restaurant right after.

Here we have Lee Pace at the Met Gala in September 2021. The visible sock garters are giving sexy midcentury; the tuxedo shorts-suit is giving sexy butler. (Those are both compliments.) I don’t quite understand the mismatched socks, but I’m gonna give him the benefit of the doubt because I love his tousled, sun-kissed long hair.

Yes, this is from the same evening; no, I don’t know what the Met Gala covid protocols were. But a man who, at least at one point throughout the night, took the health of those around him seriously? Hot!

He’s so tall he has to do a little crouch to be the same size as his Halt and Catch Fire co-stars. Silly! Look at that sheepish grin. Adorable!

I just need you to go look at these photos that he posted of himself. Thank you for your service, sir.

The setup for this photo could have had a substantially worse payoff: Three white men with a lot of industry clout (on Lee Pace’s left we have actor Jason Sudeikis, on his right is director Nick Hamm) leaning against what I can only assume is a very fancy car (sorry, this is not Jalopnik) on the Venice Film Festival’s red carpet. And yet, look at that smile, look at that sweet pose. This is a guy who’s just having a nice time with his friends!

We here at Jezebel are famously Team Mustache and this is no exception. I also appreciate the hint of chest hair and the clarity of his gorgeous green eyes, even if he seems a bit sleepy or...drunk? Honestly, relatable.

His expression is exactly how I feel after getting to spend part of my workday making this slideshow. Thank you, Lee Pace!!!
