The Cincinnati Bengals are on the road again as they seek their first win of the season against the New York Jets.

Coming off a 20-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys and a 23-20 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in their home opener, the Bengals are starting the season off in a way they hadn't hoped for.

Cincinnati is looking to avoid its first 0-3 start since 2019 when it opened 0-11 in Zac Taylor's first year as coach before beating New York in Week 13.

Despite the 0-2 record, Bengals QB Joe Burrow says he's blocking out all the noise - literally, the star quarterback said he hasn't seen any post-game reactions as he doesn't have Twitter or Instagram anymore.

"So I've seen none of it. We're focused on what's going on in there. I'm sure it's not a very good reaction, but I think it'll be a different reaction as we get going here," Burrow said.

He added he hasn't had the apps for a while.

For the Jets, they're coming off a 31-30 comeback victory against the Cleveland Browns last Sunday. They narrowly avoided opening the season with an 0-2 record as well.

With 1:55 remaining, New York trailed by 13 points but rallied back with two touchdowns and a successful onside kick.

Former University of Cincinnati cornerback Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner looks to continue to shine during his rookie season for the Jets.

Gardner was drafted by the New York Jets with the fourth overall selection in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Gardner played in 33 games as a Bearcats player, logging a career-best year in 2021, setting career highs in games played (13), solo (28) and total (40) tackles, tackles for a loss (5.0) and sacks (3.0).

Former Bengals player C.J. Uzomah has been listed as questionable for the Jets, so it's unclear if the former locker room leader will face off against his forming team after signing a three-year, $24 million deal with the Jets in March.

Bengals tight end Drew Sample has been ruled out of Sunday's match for a knee injury. Linebacker Germain Pratt didn't practice Friday after going limited Thursday and is listed as doubtful. Starting tight end Hayden Hurst went limited on Friday after going full Thursday and is listed as questionable. Wide receiver Tee Higgins (toe) surfaced on the injury report Friday, but he went full.

Right tackle La'el Collins' sore back preventing him from practicing any of the three days this week, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said after Friday's practice he's optimistic Collins can go Sunday.

If Collins can't go, it's either Hakeem Adeniji in his second NFL start at right tackle or D'Ante Smith in his first.

The Jets have quarterback Zach Wilson listed as out and Uzomah has been listed as questionable, along with George Fant, John Franklin-Myers, Jordan Whitehead, Quinnen Williams and Corey Davis.

They Bengals donned their new 'White Bengal' helmets on practice Friday, but for Sunday's game, the team will wear their orange helmets, black jersey with white pants and black socks.

HOW TO WATCH: Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday and will be broadcast on CBS.
