"Cabernet Sauvignon is like a welcomed hug from your best friend you haven’t seen in ages. It’s equal parts heart-warming and familiar," said Natalie Pelletier, a sommelier. "It’s a welcomed return to sweater weather, filled with cozy evenings in front of the fire, relaxing and listening to your favorite records. It pairs well with all the heartier fare fall brings, but also sips elegantly on its own."

As of this fall season, Avaline has added this soul-warming glass of wine to its permanent rotation.

Made with 100% organic grapes and zero sugar, Avaline Cabernet Sauvignon is medium to full-bodied with hints of red berries and cocoa. This vegan-friendly red wine is warm on the nose with notes of baking spices, subtle black fruit, and cola. The palate gives cherry fruits, chocolatey rich tannins, and has the just right amount of acidity.

Winemaker, Frank Roth gushed, "We are so proud to be partnering with Avaline to bring our organically farmed wine to a bigger audience. The organic movement is just beginning in the United States and this is a such and exciting time." He added, "As organic grape growing pioneers in Washington State we are thrilled that Avaline is raising the bar on organic Washington wine!"

"When we talked to our community about what tines they wanted next, we heard that they'd love to see a bolder red from us," said co-founder Katherine Powers. This is for all the Cab lovers out there who have been seeking a delicious organic option."

The Cabernet Sauvignon was the most requested varietal by the Avaline community and is now available on the brands website for $30.

Co-founder Cameron Diaz shared, “I am a red wine drinker and our initial Red was developed to be my everyday go-to red wine. In making the Cab, it was great to be able to listen to our community and respond to what they were looking for. Our Cabernet is a bolder option, but now it’s in regular rotation at my house." She added in, "For these chillier nights and heavier fall meals, the Cab is perfect.”

Avaline might not be the only brand with a Cabernet Sauvignon on the market but it is the one to choose. Pelletier explained, "The pride the winemakers have with their grapes is apparent- no chemicals sprayed on the grapes is not only better for the environment, but lets the grapes and terroir really shine through. Avaline is committed to a deeper transparency than other brands on the market and their wines aren’t cut with any additives. Certified organic by WSDA, Avaline’s Cab has that perfect balance of body, texture, tannin and acidity making it smooth and approachable without being too aggressive or overbearing."

Winemaker, Ashley Herzberg described Avalines unique differences, "[It] definitely starts in the vineyard. It is very intentionally farmed with only organic methods and no herbicides or pesticides. From there, our Cab is harvested to preserve the fruit forward nature of the wine. The picking timing really allows for minimal intervention in the winemaking and really lets the wine shine. We are free from heavy oak influence and concentrates so our Cab tastes pure and delicious."

"Cabernet has always been something we wanted to do," said Diaz. I'm so glad we made it just in time for the holiday season."

Pair your Cabernet Sauvignon with roasted autumn vegetables, spaghetti bolognese, or wood-fired pizza. Gather friends together around a beautifully decorated fall table and enjoy the night. Top it off with an evening of games like charades or with your favorite TV show reruns.
