The 10th Anniversary of the Women’s 100 is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever

If you are looking for a new kit for riding this fall, check out the latest on Rapha’s site. Artists Zuzanna Rogatty and Studio Nari collaborated with Rapha to release a new collection for the Women’s 100 Ride in September. The result is a set of designs that range from bright and bold to more subtle. All of the designs carry an underlying message of women’s empowerment.

With Women’s 100 celebrating its 10th anniversary, Rapha has set the goal of getting 100,000 women to ride 100 kilometers on Sunday, September 18th. You do not need the kit to participate; you can join the challenge however you’d like. To participate, sign up on Strava to be part of the ride and enter to win prizes—or ride 100 kilometers on your own, just for yourself!

This year, the Women's 100 focus is on going global, bringing riders from around the world together virtually to celebrate the sisterhood of cycling. Rapha created two special edition kits for the occasion. The designs are deceptively simple but with a fun flair, espousing the core message: All My Girls Ride With Me. Studio Nari represented this with a geometrical vibe, while Zuzanna Rogatty’s design leaned into bubble letters in a more graffiti-style print.

Based on a limited color palette—Light yellow-green and purple with gray and white—the collection has five jersey options, including a long sleeve. Even with the limited colors, the jerseys range widely in style, with one nearly all gray version with yellow-green accents for the neutral-loving riders and one that is a bright version of the light purple with yellow-green accents.

The pieces focusing on purple are from Rogatty, while those playing up the bright green are Studio Nari, but all contain elements of both for a unified experience. There are regular shorts in light purple or bibs in yellow-green. A crop t-shirt, socks, caps, and musette bag round out the offerings.

Studio Nari’s tag reads: “The collection aims to express connectivity between women, this was visualized through the interaction, layering, and combination of design elements. The designs became a visual metaphor for the relationships, shared experiences, and community that W100 offers.”

Pieces from Zuzanna Rogatty have a tag reading: “This collection is designed to celebrate a sisterhood that stretches across all national borders and natural boundaries. Though we ride on different roads around the world, W100 brings us closer, determined in our shared aim to go the distance together. You got this.”
